Comfortable, roomy guest accommodation is scattered through the grounds, and is designed to be peaceful and secluded, each with a private terrace facing the gardens and Urubamba River. Golf carts are available to transport guests around the property. Service is efficient and personable.

Take your pick of activities and tours to explore the scenery, culture and history of the Sacred Valley, and there’s even a private station on site where you can board a train for Machu Picchu. Spare time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities, which include an inviting outdoor pool, lavish spa and restaurant serving top quality Peruvian cuisine indoors or on the terrace. You are welcome to tour the gardens and take part in yoga and meditation classes.

Hotel Rio Sagrado rooms

There are 10 rooms, 11 suites and 2 villas. All are spacious, have full length windows letting in lots of natural light, and doors leading out to private outdoor space. Amenities include phone, free Wi-Fi, iPod dock, and hair dryer. TVs and DVD players are not supplied as standard but are available for guests in suites and villas on request. All bathrooms have heated marble floors and rain showers.

Deluxe terrace rooms
(42 sq m) have either 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed, a marble bathroom and a large terrace with views of the Urubamba River and Sacred Valley.

Garden junior suites
(92 sq m) have either 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed, a marble bathroom and a large terrace with a secluded garden.

(220 sq m and 330 sq m) have 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a lounge-diner with open fire and a kitchen, all arranged over 2 floors. Each has a terrace facing the river. The larger of the 2 also has a loft studio.
