Inca Trail Camping

Inca Trail Camping utilises private campsites at three strategic points along the trail. Cosy tents come equipped with sleeping bags designed to withstand the conditions. All meals and accompanying drinks are included.

These three camps provide your accommodation during the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. You have a sturdy tent in which to sleep, with a sleeping bag designed for use in temperatures down to -9 °C.  Hot water is available for washing on arrival in camp and each morning. Portable toilets are available for use in camp, and there are toilets along the trekking route. All meals and drinks with meals are included, nourishing food to give you energy for the trek. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in camp, with lunch served at a stop en-route to the next camp.  There are three camps on the four day / three night trek: Wayllabamba at 3,000 metres, Pacaymayo at 3,590 metres and Winay Wayna at 2,700 metres. This trek is offered as both a group and a private trip. There is one guide for up to eight trekkers, plus an assistant guide for a larger group.

Times to Go

This trek operates year round apart from the month of February when the Inca Trail is closed for maintenance.

Inca Trail Camping

Accommodation is in single and two-person Eureka Mountain tents. Sleeping bags with a temperature rating to -9 degrees C are provided.

The number of tents ranges between four and 12, depending on the location and group size.
