Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo

Stay in your own luxury casita, explore the orchid- and bird-filled grounds with a guide, visit the citadel of Machu Picchu, relax in the spa and enjoy fine Peruvian cuisine – all part of the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo experience.

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo has been designed to resemble an Andean village, with accommodation in casitas nestled in the 5 hilly hectares of well-tended grounds with waterfalls, trees, terraces, 372 species of orchids, 214 species of birds and 111 species of butterflies. There are even rescued spectacled bears at the rear of the property.

Walking trails let you enjoy the forest and a tea plantation at your leisure, with guided tours offered, and with the famous citadel of Machu Picchu just a short drive away there’s plenty to keep you occupied. After exploring you can relax with a therapeutic visit to the spa, and later sit down to fine Peruvian cuisine at the restaurant overlooking the Vilcanota River.

Additional refreshments are available at the bar and Café, above the railway station, good places to rest and enjoy the company of other guests. Accommodation ranges from superior rooms to the lavish Inkaterra suites, and all are perfect for private relaxation and contemplation.

Times to Go

Machu Picchu can be visited year round. The Inca Trail is closed in February, but we also choose not to sell the Inca Trail in January or March as we believe that trekkers damage the trail in these wet months.
